How much does a videographer cost in Vancouver?

At Vcamra, a 30-second social video costs $200, a performance music video $950 and a video ad $650. Directed music videos and brand films are quoted per project after a free call. Here is what each one includes. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

02What you get with every video

  • Vertical versions for Instagram Reels and TikTok, and horizontal ones for YouTube and your website.
  • Music, a colour grade and an edit built around a story, not just a montage.
  • Planning first: locations, styling and a shot list, so the day itself runs smoothly.

03What changes the price

  • Length and filming time. A 60-second video takes more shooting and editing than a 30-second one.
  • Direction. A performance video follows the song; a directed video adds a written treatment, a storyboard and a full day of filming.
  • How many cuts. Ads come in every size each platform needs; an ad set is three ads from one shoot.
  • Where you are. Prices cover Vancouver; other parts of Metro Vancouver add a set travel fee of $30 to $80.

04How a project starts

Every film, music video and brand project starts with a free 20-minute consultation and a written quote. Event films can be booked on their own or together with photos.
