The best place for a photoshoot in Vancouver depends on the feeling you want: the city for something modern, the forest for something calm, the water for light and space. We plan the place with you on a short call before every session. Here are the kinds of places we shoot most, with photos from our own sessions.
01The city
Downtown, Gastown and the streets around Harbour Centre suit personal branding, headshots and anything that should feel modern. Dusk is best, when the lights come on. Harbour Centre was shot there, with the Lookout glowing behind.
02Forests
Forest trails around Metro Vancouver, from Stanley Park to Coquitlam, have soft light and a lot of green, even in winter. Good for portraits, couples and anyone who wants calm, natural photos. Forest Road was shot on a forest road in Coquitlam.
03The water
Beaches like Kitsilano, Spanish Banks and English Bay give open light and big backgrounds. Good for couples, weddings and anything active. Granite Vows was shot on the rocks by the water in Vancouver, and for the right project we travel further: Stillwater was shot on Salt Spring Island.
04Your own place
Your home, studio, shop or office is often the best location for a brand session, because it shows the real business. A Brand Session ($500) covers your people, your space and your products in one shoot.
05Travel fees
| Area | Travel fee |

| Burnaby, New Westminster, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver | +$30 |
| Surrey, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Delta | +$50 |
| Langley, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, White Rock | +$80 |
| Further, such as Squamish, Whistler or the islands | quoted before you book |
06If it rains
This is Vancouver, so we always have a plan. If it is too wet for an outdoor shoot, we move it to another day for free, or we shoot indoors instead, in a studio or an indoor public place we pick together.
